Biography

Felicia Lee, born on May 19, 1992, hails from Wayne, NJ. Four years later, she began swimming simply because her mother wanted her to learn water safety. She began to excel while doing her early training at the Montclair YMCA. In late 2005, a 13 year-old Felicia made a big move and switched her training base to the North Baltimore Aquatic Club (NBAC). She has continued to excel under the tutelage of Senior Elite coach Paul Yetter.

Before her 15th birthday, Felicia was already a 2-time individual National Champion. She captured the 100 Fly title in both 2006 and 2007 at the USA Swimming Spring Championships.

Felicia topped off a successful 2006 by being named to USA Swimming's National Junior Team for 2007. She went on to compete at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Hawaii. She won the 100 Fly title at the competition.

Felicia is a current state, YMCA, Zone, and National Age Group (NAG) record-holder.

Her accolades include Swimming World Magazine's "Age Group Swimmer of the Month", as well as a slot in the famed Sports Illustrated "Faces In The Crowd" feature. Most recently Sports Illustrated ran another feature where they predicted Felicia would be a major Olympic star in the future.
